if anyone remembers my mascot character for belli-buttons

she also had a green bird ball thing, benny. Well now the bird is an OC.

I don't really do OCs or much original work but I am trying now. Penny will also get a revamp soon. and instead of just being a unused mascot, hoping to develop her more too.

Personality:
Stoic and can come off as a bit cold or detached. He rarely initiates conversations with people. However with Penny, he dots on her like an older brother. He lets her take charge and supports her.

His character drastically changes when he is flying. He is energetic and passionate. He truly feels free in the air.


History/relationships:

Benjamin is from a wealthy family. He has two older brothers. Both his parents are successful engineers specialized in making cars and airplanes. They are also heavy supporters of the German military government.

He had a happy childhood. He always had a fascination for planes and admired his parent's work. Due to a significant age gap between his two older brothers, he wasn't particularly close to them but he still respected them. Being the youngest child, he was a bit spoiled and was cheerful and outgoing.

He started to fly planes by the time he turned 12. By age 15 he got scouted by the air force and by the time he turned 19 he became the ace pilot of his division. His parents were very proud of this as well. He didn't particularly care for the military but he loved flying. However during this time, his country was at war with neighbouring countries. One of Ben's mission was to destroy an enemy weapon's factory but it actually turned out to be a civilian area. One of the buildings that was destroyed by him was an orphanage. He discovers Penny (then age 11), who somehow was the only one who survived the bombing . He decides to leave the air force and takes Penny under his wing.

Currently, he "works" for Penny's delivery company as a pilot and as her assistant.
